Megan Meginley graduated summa cum laude from Temple University in 1998 with a major in Psychology and a minor in Cognitive Neuroscience. She received her M.A. from West Virginia University’s Behavior Analysis program in the Department of Psychology in 2001. Since that time, Megan has worked as an applied animal behaviorist previously in Philadelphia and currently in Morgantown, WV, where she is completing her dissertation research. She plans to receive her Ph.D. in Psychology from the Behavior Analysis program in May, 2007. In her research, conducted in the laboratory of Dr. Andy Lattal, CAAB, Megan examines canine learning under various reinforcement conditions. In her practice, Megan typically conducts three one-hour in-home consultations during which a behavioral history assessment is conducted, behavior-change strategies are modeled, a behavior plan is designed, and treatment progress is monitored. All behavior plans are based on behavior-analytic principles and techniques. Megan has a background in both basic and applied behavior analysis, and combines the behavior-analytic approach with knowledge of species- and breed- specific behavioral characteristics in her development of treatment packages.
